Fort Ord Women's MTB Ride Clinic

Fort Ord Women's MTB Ride Clinic

Ready to ride stronger, build confidence, and have a whole lot of fun doing it.

Join us for an MTB Girls Ride Club experience—an official MTB Girls Magazine event, at the stunning Fort Ord National Monument, an incredible trail network known for its flowy terrain, rolling hills, and wide-open views.

The Fort Ord National Monument offers world-class recreation for residents and visitors to the Central California Coast. Lands of the former Fort Ord feature 86 miles of trail across approximately 7,200 acres, open daily from dawn to dusk for hikers, mountain bikers, horseback riders, wildlife and wildflower photographers, and nature enthusiasts. Riders can explore narrow singletrack trails across grassland hills or cruise generous, winding trails through oak woodlands and maritime chaparral.

This ride is designed for beginner to intermediate riders who are ready to build strength, improve fitness, and gain confidence on the bike in a supportive, welcoming environment. Ride alongside like-minded women as you develop skills, resilience, and connection on the trail.

What You’ll Gain from This Ride Clinic:

This ride is designed to help you build real confidence on your bike while developing essential mountain biking skills in a supportive, encouraging environment. You’ll work on foundational techniques like body positioning, braking, cornering, and climbing, giving you the tools to ride with more control and ease on the trail.

Beyond skills, this is about connection. You’ll be riding alongside a group of like-minded women who are here to support, uplift, and grow together. Many riders leave not only feeling stronger and more confident, but with new friendships, trusted ride partners, and a deeper sense of belonging in the mountain biking community.
