Ride Description
We’ll begin at a gorgeous home right along the water before cruising through scenic open fields beside the coastline as we make our way toward the mountain.
From there, we’ll climb into one of Santa Cruz’s most magical trails — Enchanted Forest — a trail that truly lives up to its name with towering trees, incredible flow, and dreamlike scenery around every turn.
We’ll continue climbing into the redwoods at the top of the mountain where the Santa Cruz riding culture comes alive with riders of all ages charging the trails.
Then comes the reward: flowing switchbacks descending into downtown Santa Cruz where we’ll ride along the ocean, pass the iconic Dream Inn, cruise by the lighthouse where Mark and I took our wedding photos, and soak in the energy of surfers, beachgoers, and ocean lovers along the coast.
The ride finishes at my parents’ famous Santa Cruz home — a local landmark where people travel from all over just to stop and take photos in front of it.
Hands down, this is one of those rides that stays with you long after it’s over.
