• Who should i bring with me to my appointment? Bring the three or four people whose opinions you value most. When it comes to choosing a dress, more is not always merrier! You’ll want to bring guests who understand your true style, give supportive feedback, and will help you look your best. Hearing too many opinions can be overwhelming for even the most confident of brides, so keep the guest list short and sweet. • What will my appointment be like? During your appointment, you will work with your assigned expert stylist. Our stylists are dedicated to finding the dress that will make you look and feel your absolute best. We do have a limit on how many dresses you can try. You can try on four dresses in total. If you already have some ideas about your dream dress, feel free to bring along pictures, pinterest ideas… And if you’re coming in blind and have no idea what you want yet, we can work with that too. Once you find your dream dress, we take your measurements and walk you through the ordering process. • Can I bring children to my appointment? While we are a family-friendly store, we host multiple appointments at a time, and although you’ll have your individual appointment space, children can be a distraction. In our experience, children also get bored quickly, seeing wedding dress after wedding dress. We also have very delicate decorations and accents in the store that can be easily broken if handled wrong. As such, we strongly encourage you to leave the kids at home and let yourself focus on your dress hunt. • How long does a wedding dress appointment usually last? Our bridal appointments last for about 45 - 90 minutes. While we do have set time slots, we never want you to feel rushed in any way! • Do I need to bring anything with me to my appointment? For first appointments, we recommend bringing your own undergarments to try on the dresses. Comfortable, flesh coloured or pale underwear is advisable and a strapless bra is always good but not essential. For fittings, please plan to bring the undergarments you intend to wear on your big day as well as the shoes (or shoes with similar heel height) you wish to wear. Ofcourse we do have some shoes available to try in store. The main thing we do ask is that you wear a minimal amount of make-up to protect the dresses. • What size dresses do you stock? Wedding dresses range in sizes from 36 to 44, so it's always helpful to have a stylist help fit the dresses. We are constantly bringing in new dresses in different sizes. Sizes over 44 are as well available and can be ordered on request. • Do you offer an alteration service? Yes, we do have an in-house tailor. All alterations are included in the price. • How far in advance do I need to shop for a gown? We recommend starting your search for renting a wedding dress at about a three to four months before your wedding date. To buy a wedding dress you have to make an appointment at least 6 to 8 months before your wedding.
