The difference between options and variants

When setting up your product or service, it’s helpful to know the difference between options and variants. Don’t worry—it’s super simple!

What is a variant?

This is a decision your customer needs to make. They must choose from at least two variants (like size or color). It’s a required step.

What is an option?

This is something extra your customer can choose to add. It’s totally optional! Think of it like adding a topping to your pizza—nice to have, but not necessary.
