What information is needed to schedule an appointment?
That depends slightly. When you plan an appointment from your dashboard, you only need the customer's name. Nothing more.
When a customer books an appointment with you from your online page, they must fill in their name and email address. Both phone number and address are optional fields.
What happens once an appointment is scheduled?
No matter whether you or your customers scheduled the appointment, the chosen time slot is blocked from that moment onwards. It will also appear in your calendar.
At the same time, an email will be sent to both you and the customer about the upcoming appointment. In addition, another reminder mail will go out just before the appointment.
Can an appointment be rescheduled or canceled once it has been made?
Yes, both you and the customer can do both of these things. However, you remain in control, deciding exactly until when customers can reschedule or cancel.
No one wants customers canceling just 5 minutes before the appointment.
