Use your own domain

Vev pages are hosted on vev.co (for example vev.co/your-page). You can’t connect a custom domain like www.yourbusiness.com directly to your Vev page, but you can set up domain forwarding at your domain registrar so visitors who type your own domain are sent to your Vev page.

Domain forwarding (sometimes called a URL redirect) is set up where you bought your domain, not inside Vev. The exact labels differ by registrar, but the steps are usually:

  1. Log in to the account where you manage your domain.
  2. Find the setting for forwarding, redirect, or DNS forwarding.
  3. Enter your full Vev page URL as the destination (for example https://vev.co/your-page).
  4. If you’re offered a choice, pick a permanent (301) redirect.
  5. Save your changes and allow some time for them to take effect.

After that, people who visit your own domain should land on your Vev page. Your page address on Vev stays a vev.co link.
