Adding an “Agree to Policy” to your checkout
Adding an “Agree to Policy” checkbox to your checkout process ensures that customers acknowledge your terms before finalizing their booking. This feature helps you set clear expectations, whether it’s a cancellation policy, house rules, or service terms.
With Vev, you can make this agreement optional or required, giving you full control over how policies are enforced during checkout.
How to enable the “Agree to Policy” at checkout.
- Go to Settings > Checkout
- Choose "Add field"
- Search "Agree to Policy"
- Choose to make it required, or optional).
What your customers will see.
At checkout, customers will see a policy checkbox with a link to your policy statement. If it’s set as required, they won’t be able to complete their booking unless they check the box.
Customers will be able to read the policy on your Vev page and there's a link to review them is included in the confirmation page and email.
