What can Vev’s delivery software for bakery do for me?

Your bakery will get its own online page on which customers can place their orders, all you need to do is share the link with your customers.
Then, when your customers place an order, you and the customer will receive an email to confirm it. You will also immediately receive an optimized route to deliver the baked goods. Especially useful when there are several baked goods that need to be delivered in a row.
Also important, your customers don’t have to create an account; just their contact info and address is enough.
Is it possible to charge for the delivery of baked goods?
Yes, you can define how much you want to charge for each baked goods delivery. It's also possible to add a standard price, and a price above which delivery is free.
All this can be adjusted in your bakery settings. The same goes for everything else that should be decided by you as the baker, like maximum travel distance or opening hours.
Can I decide how far I want to go to deliver baked goods?
Yes, you can define the work area of your bakery based on the amount of time to the location. In simpler words, if you want to bike a maximum of 10 minutes to deliver baked goods then the system will calculate the distance that can be reached in 10 minutes and stop any customer outside of it from ordering.
Same goes for cars or which transportation method your bakery decides to use. Customers further away than your maximum travel length will not be able to order.
Can I choose a baked goods transport method?
Yes, you can choose in which way you wish to deliver baked goods. You can choose between bike, car and truck. The system will calculate travel time and the best delivery route based on the transport method you choose.
As with anything specific to your bakery, it is you as the baker that makes the decisions. Vev just facilitates that everything runs smoothly for your bakery in the background.
Is travel time for baked goods delivery calculated?
Yes, travel time between addresses is calculated and the software makes sure that the planning of your bakery makes logical sense. You simply can’t be in two spots delivering baked goods at the same time.
Next to that, Vev also calculates the quickest delivery route and sorts orders accordingly. When there are several orders the system automatically creates a logical route for you, rather than you travelling back and forth to deliver baked goods.
