Inspired by the need to offer a modern and efficient approach to law practice, Juan Carlos and his partner, José, decided to create a law firm that would not only meet their clients' legal needs but also offer a collaborative and motivating environment for their team.

For Juan Carlos, being independent and having a project with people who foster a good atmosphere and share the same direction was essential.

The Experience of bringing a project to life

Starting the firm was a significant investment in terms of time and money, but Juan Carlos always felt supported by the motivation of the project. “When you embark on something like this, you feel both fear and excitement in equal measure. The key is not letting either of these feelings overwhelm you and keeping your feet on the ground.”Owning a business meant greater responsibility than working for someone else. “In a law firm, you're focused on being a lawyer, but you also have to look at how to make your business more profitable, improve services, and improve the company image. You have to steer the ship. Ultimately, that’s what the business is—a kind of boat where everyone must row in the same direction, or it goes nowhere.”

Through this experience, Juan Carlos learned the importance of making good decisions about who to associate with and surround himself. He emphasizes the value of having people who contribute positively and are committed to the project. “I don’t know where LEYUX would be without Isabel, Miguel, Lucía… But you have to be careful about those who hold you back. Recognizing this and acting quickly is key to keep your growth from being stalled.”The ability to identify the right partners and collaborators has become a key pillar for LEYUX’s growth, ensuring the whole team works toward a common goal.
