Money flows safely through the system and into your bank account when pet owners pay ahead for their booking. You decide if they need to pay the full amount ahead of their booking, or that only a partial deposit is required to confirm the booking.
You can use any device you own as long as it has an internet browser. When you have an iPhone you can soon use Tap to Pay on iPhone.
Plans change, so refunds are easy
Pet owners can reschedule freely within the rescheduling policy you set in Vev. When a pet owner needs to cancel, they’ll automatically get the amount refunded if your policy allows that.

What can Vev’s booking system do for pet sitters?
Vev's pet sitter system automatically organizes the pets sitting for your pet sitter. You decide how far in advance people can make bookings, change them, or cancel them.
Only the time slots that you make available can be booked by pet owners, no bookings outside the opening hours of your pet sitter. When a pet sitting gets scheduled then that will automatically be blocked preventing double bookings.
Of course, when a regular of your pet sitter makes a booking via a phone call or DM, you can also add those manually to Vev. Helping you to stay on top of your game.
Can anyone start a pet sitter with Vev?
Absolutely! Vev encourages every pet sitter to follow their dream and start a pet sitter. You only need a name to get things going.
To help pet sitters even more, we already loaded a default price list that you could use for your pet sitter. Of course you know best, so you can edit this as much as you like. You can also set your business colors and upload a logo to make the page uniquely yours.

Is Vev's booking system for pet sitters free to use?
Yes! We want to make starting a pet sitter as easy as possible; that’s why any pet sitter can use the standard version of Vev for free. Get as many bookings for your pet sitter as you can physically handle.
As your pet sitter grows, you might want to unlock Vev+ as soon as it becomes available this summer. Up to you, but the standard version of Vev is always at your disposal for free.
What do I need to get started?
You only need an email address, a password, and a name for your pet sitter. You can change everything later. Make sure that your pet sitter does comply with local regulations, in some cases you need a license or to register with a Chamber of Commerce before taking bookings.
