Money flows safely through the system and into your bank account when customers pay ahead for their booking. You decide if they need to pay the full amount ahead of their booking, or that only a partial deposit is required to confirm the booking.
You can use any device you own as long as it has an internet browser. When you have an iPhone you can soon use Tap to Pay on iPhone.
Plans change, so refunds are easy
Customers can reschedule freely within the rescheduling policy you set in Vev. When a customer needs to cancel, they’ll automatically get the amount refunded if your policy allows that.

Connect with Stripe to let customers pay with popular methods such as Apple Pay and Google Pay. Customers can also pay on the spot. They’ll scan a QR code from your phone and complete the transaction from the comfort of their own device. No additional hardware is needed!

What can Vev’s booking system do for restaurant owners?
Vev's restaurant system automatically organizes the meals for your restaurant. You decide how far in advance people can make bookings, change them, or cancel them.
Only the time slots that you make available can be booked by customers, no bookings outside the opening hours of your restaurant. When a meal gets ordered then that will automatically be blocked preventing double bookings.
Of course, when a regular of your restaurant makes a booking via a phone call or DM, you can also add those manually to Vev. Helping you to stay on top of your game.
Can anyone start a restaurant with Vev?
Absolutely! Vev encourages every restaurant owner to follow their dream and start a restaurant. You only need a name to get things going.
To help restaurant owners even more, we already loaded a default price list that you could use for your restaurant. Of course you know best, so you can edit this as much as you like. You can also set your business colors and upload a logo to make the page uniquely yours.

Is Vev's booking system for restaurants free to use?
Yes! We want to make starting a restaurant as easy as possible; that’s why any restaurant owner can use the standard version of Vev for free. Get as many bookings for your restaurant as you can physically handle.
As your restaurant grows, you might want to unlock Vev+ as soon as it becomes available this summer. Up to you, but the standard version of Vev is always at your disposal for free.
What do I need to get started?
You only need an email address, a password, and a name for your restaurant. You can change everything later. Make sure that your restaurant does comply with local regulations, in some cases you need a license or to register with a Chamber of Commerce before taking bookings.
